BiGo Assistant Databases

Main difference between BiGo Assistant Tiny, BiGo Assistant Profi and BiGo Assistant Full consists in sizes of their databases.

BiGo Assistant Tiny Edition Databases.

Go games database 0.85 include 25 228 games records (3 279 professional games)

Go Opening Databases is built from the Tiny Game Database:

  • Fuseki database (more than 240 000 variations)

  • Fuseki for half board (19x11) database (about 4 600 000 variations)

  • Joseki database for 12x12 corner (more than 4 300 000 variations)

  • Joseki database for 9x9 corner (more than 7 600 000 variations)

Subbases

Subbases are subsets of full the Go Games Database.

  • Professional Go Games Subbase with Fuseki/Joseki Subbases

  • Pro & SemiPro Go Games Subbase with Fuseki/Joseki Subbases

  • User defined custom Subbases. For example: all professinonal games in year 2000.

  • Predefined and user defined personal Go Games Subbases of the best Go players with Fuseki Subbases:

    Cho Chikun, Cho Hunhyun, Go Seigen, Kato Masao, Kobayashi Koichi, Lee Changho, Ma Xiaochun, Rin Kaiho, Sakata Eio, Takemiya Masaki.

BiGo Assistant Profi Edition Databases.

Go game records database includes more than 101 000 professional games (at least one pro player). Most of the games were input from the printed sources. Latest professional records included.

Go opening databases are the same as for Tiny and Full databases.

BiGo Assistant Full Edition Databases

Go game records database includes about 3 297 000 Go games records of strong (5 dan), very strong (6-7 dan) amateurs and professionals (about 105 000 games with at least one pro player). There are very few games of weak players.

Go Opening Databases built from the game database:

  • Fuseki database built from full the Game Database - about 3 * 10^9 variations

  • Fuseki for half board (19x11) database built from full the Game Database - more than 5 * 10^11 variations

  • Joseki database for 12x12 corner built from full the Game Database - more than 3 * 10^12 variations

  • Joseki database for 9x9 corner built from full the Game Database - more than 2 * 10^13 variations

This database managed by separate program BiGo Joseki.

Game records for databases collected from many sources.
Games of professional Go players from about 50 Yearbooks (Japanese Kido, Korean Baduk and Chinese WeiQi), about 200 monthly Go magazines, other Go publications and from Internet are included in Professional Games Database.
